MyPerson LLC ("Find Your Person," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Find Your Person mobile application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle information when you use the Service.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Service, including when you create an account, build a profile, upload content, generate an avatar, communicate with other users, make purchases, contact support, or otherwise interact with us.
The Service is intended for users located in the United States and is not directed to children under 18.
We may collect and process the following categories of information:
Providing your sexual orientation is optional. If you provide it, it appears on your public profile, including to visitors who are not signed in. If you leave it blank, nothing is displayed and no value is assumed. We do not use it to determine search eligibility or matching.
If you purchase a subscription or other paid feature, we may receive records relating to the transaction, subscription status, renewal status, purchase date, and similar billing information. We do not collect your full payment card number where payment processing is handled by the applicable app store or payment processor.
We may use information for the following purposes:
A core feature of Find Your Person is the creation of AI-generated avatars from user-submitted selfies. If you upload a selfie:
Users must only upload images they have the right to submit and permit us to process under our Terms.
If you use in-app messaging or other communication features, we and our service providers may receive, process, transmit, store, and review message content and related metadata as necessary to operate the Service, investigate abuse, enforce our rules, respond to reports, comply with law, and protect users and the platform.
When you report another user, we create a moderation record that includes the reason you selected, the accounts involved, and — if you report a conversation — a copy of recent messages from that conversation as they existed at the time of the report. This copy is stored separately from your inbox so it remains available for review even if the conversation or either account is later deleted. We use these records only to investigate the report, enforce our rules, and comply with legal obligations, and we retain them for as long as necessary for those purposes.
We may disclose information:
We may also disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.
You may be able to access, update, or correct certain account and profile information through the app.
You may delete your account through features made available in the app. Even after account deletion, we may retain certain information for legitimate business, legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, dispute-resolution, billing, moderation, and enforcement purposes.
You may also contact us at support@findyourperson.app with privacy-related questions.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain records, investigate misuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect the integrity and safety of the platform.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason we hold it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you are a California resident, you may have certain privacy rights under California law, subject to applicable exceptions and legal requirements. Depending on what applies, these rights may include the right to request access to certain personal information, request correction of inaccurate personal information, request deletion of certain personal information, and request information about how personal information is used or disclosed.
Find Your Person does not sell personal information for money. If California law applies to your information and grants you rights that are not fully available through the app, you may contact us at support@findyourperson.app. We will consider and respond to applicable requests as required by law.
The Service is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit users under 18 to use the Service.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or by other reasonable means. The updated version will be indicated by a revised effective date.
We may use analytics tools to understand how users discover and engage with our website and app. These tools may collect information about your device, operating system, browser, and general browsing behavior on our site.
In the future, we may use advertising platforms — such as Meta (Facebook) or others — that may set tracking pixels or cookies on our website to measure ad performance and, where permitted by law, to serve interest-based advertising. If and when we implement such tools, this policy will be updated to describe them specifically.
You may be able to opt out of interest-based advertising through your device settings, your browser's cookie controls, or industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at support@findyourperson.app.
